About The Position

The Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant is primarily responsible for keeping the facility clean, safe, and comfortable in accordance with Trilogy standards and federal and state regulations. The role includes cleaning resident rooms and bathrooms, common areas, offices, and employee areas, as well as completing daily and deep-cleaning assignments and isolation cleaning procedures according to infection-control procedures. When performing laundry duties, the assistant washes and dries resident laundry and linens, delivers and puts away laundered items, labels resident laundry, and properly uses, stores, and maintains laundry equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, family members, and employees.
• Clean resident rooms and bathrooms, common areas, offices, and employee areas.
• Complete daily cleaning assignments and deep cleaning for move-ins and move-outs.
• Perform isolation cleaning according to established infection-control procedures.
• Keep work and assigned areas clean, and properly store equipment, tools, and supplies, including before breaks, mealtimes, and the end of the workday.
• When assigned laundry tasks, wash and dry resident laundry and linens; deliver and put away laundered items; label resident laundry; and properly use, store, and maintain equipment.
