About The Position

Legends Global, a leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Housekeeping - Janitor at the Caesars Superdome, Smoothie King Center, and Champions Square. This role is responsible for conducting all cleaning duties to maintain the facilities.

This position requires the ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations made for individuals with disabilities. A criminal background check and being at least 18 years of age are required. Excellent customer service skills are essential. The role demands physical capability including lifting up to 50 lbs, stooping, bending, climbing stairs, working at heights up to 21 stories, and operating cleaning equipment. The environment may expose the employee to adverse conditions such as fumes, dust, noise, and wet floors. The ability to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours), climb stairs, and work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed is also required.

Requirements

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Excellent customer service skills
• Physical capability to lift, push up to 50 lbs., stoop, bend, climb stairs and work at heights up to 21 stories, and operate cleaning equipment as required.
• Able to stand for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Able to climb stairs
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years janitorial/custodial experience required

Responsibilities

• Conducts all cleaning duties, including sweeping and vacuuming carpets, sweeping, mopping, waxing floors, trash pick-up and removal, cleaning toilets and urinals, cleaning and shining mirrors, cleaning walls and trash cans, cleaning arena seats, dusting furniture, etc.
• Control of housekeeping equipment, including but not limited to brooms, mops, buckets and wringer, toilet brushes, garbage bags, push brooms, cleaning cloths, gloves, mask and cleaning solutions, etc.
• All other duties as assigned
