About The Position

The Housekeeping Inspector supports resort operations by maintaining and reporting all service and quality deficiencies that do not meet pre-established standards, displaying a “Count on Me” attitude in all tasks and interactions. This role is responsible for the inspection and evaluation of guest rooms prior to occupancy to ensure established standards are met and exceeded, including cleanliness, inventory, and maintenance. The Housekeeping Inspector maintains records of inspections for management review.

Requirements

• High School graduate.
• At least 1 year of Housekeeping experience.
• Fully bilingual (English and Spanish).
• Detail oriented with organizational skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend routine instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to give high priority to customer service.
• Ability to handle stress and work with a sense of urgency in a time sensitive faced pace environment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete tasks in the time allotted and meet quality standards.
• Must be people oriented and able to work independently or with others as needed.
• Must possess a valid Health Certificate and Good Conduct Certificate.
• Able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays and nights.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate guest rooms prior to occupancy to ensure cleanliness, inventory, and maintenance standards are met and exceeded.
• Identify and report service and quality deficiencies that do not meet pre-established standards.
• Maintain records of inspections for management review.
• Display a “Count on Me” attitude in all tasks and interactions.
• Maintain a professional appearance and a Can-Do, positive attitude towards all guests and staff.
