About The Position

The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for stocking back-of-house areas and maintaining cleanliness on guest floors. The role includes replenishing linens, terry, supplies, and robes on assigned landings, and promptly delivering requested items to room attendants and guests. The houseperson supports service standards, budgetary goals, and effective interdepartmental relations. This is a part-time position with typical hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and requires availability on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Requirements

Must be reliable and willing to work weekends and holidays.
Deliver guest and associate requests within 15 minutes.
Able to use different types of chemicals.
Able to work independently and follow supervisors’ directions.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Related experience preferred.

Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing is preferred.

Responsibilities

Stock assigned landings with linens, terry, supplies, and robes.
Deliver requested items promptly to room attendants and guests, with requests delivered within 15 minutes.
Strip 50–60 rooms per shift or as assigned.
Complete assigned cleanliness projects on landings and guest floors.
Communicate with room attendants in the assigned section to ensure their needs are met.
Communicate with the laundry department about linen needs.
Conduct linen inventory quarterly.
Perform other tasks as assigned by a supervisor.
