About The Position

The Housekeeping Houseperson supports housekeeping operations by stocking back-of-house areas and maintaining the cleanliness of guest floors. The role includes replenishing linens and supplies on assigned landings, delivering requested items to room attendants and guests, and helping ensure service standards, budgetary goals, and effective interdepartmental relations. This is a part-time position with typical hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and required availability on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Requirements

• Must be reliable and willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Deliver guest and associate requests within 15 minutes.
• Able to use different types of chemicals.
• Able to work independently and follow supervisors’ directions.
• Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, and running; being on one’s feet for up to eight hours per day; frequent reaching; and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Related experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Stock assigned landings with linens, terry, supplies, and robes.
• Deliver requested items to room attendants and guests in a timely manner.
• Strip 50–60 rooms per shift or as assigned.
• Complete cleanliness projects on landings and guest floors as assigned by supervisors.
• Communicate with room attendants in the assigned section to ensure their needs are met.
• Communicate with the laundry department about linen needs.
• Conduct linen inventory quarterly.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
