About The Position

Requirements

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial work is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of floor-cleaning techniques, industrial cleaning methods, and custodial best practices.
• Ability to safely and efficiently use cleaning equipment, including vacuums, buffers, and mops.
• Familiarity with chemical-handling procedures and safety data sheets (SDS).
• Strong manual-handling skills and ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
• Excellent customer-service skills and a positive attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and respond effectively in emergency situations.

Nice To Haves

• Hotel experience and understanding of hotel housekeeping operations are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Handle chemical agents safely, following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper chemical-handling procedures.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and perform detailed floor care throughout the property.
• Move furniture or supplies to support cleaning operations and complete heavy-lifting tasks safely.
• Restock housekeeping carts with linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies, and maintain proper inventory.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in response to incidents or safety concerns.
• Dispose of waste properly and follow janitorial protocols to maintain sanitation and hygiene.
