About The Position
A Kolter Hospitality Housekeeping Houseperson delivers service excellence by creating a larger-than-home experience through welcoming, helpful, and exceptional service. The position is responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment at Hyatt House Dania Beach in Dania Beach, Florida. The role is full-time, pays $15.00 per hour, and has an unspecified shift. The position requires working most weekends and holidays, reporting on time in proper uniform, and following safety and lost-and-found procedures. Pre-employment drug testing and a background check are required. Requirements
- Able to work most weekends and holidays.
- Report to work on time and in proper uniform.
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight, with a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Pre-employment drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities
- Clean assigned rooms.
- Change linens and make beds.
- Thoroughly clean bathrooms.
- Sweep, vacuum, dust, mop, and pick up trash.
- Replenish guest amenities and toiletries.
- Load and organize the cart, then store it properly at the end of each shift.
- Receive keys and assigned rooms, and return keys at the end of each shift.
- Respond to guest requests and report guest issues.
- Follow proper lost-and-found procedures for items left in guest rooms.
- Report items in need of repair.
- Follow all safety procedures while working.
- Provide personalized guest service and handle workplace problems effectively and innovatively.
