About The Position

Salamander Middleburg is looking for Full-Time Housepersons for our 5 Star Housekeeping department. The Houseperson will support and service the room attendants and maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment and manage interruptions.
• Must communicate effectively with team members and customers.
• Ability to accept constructive criticism and adapt to changing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks using standard hotel products to adhere to health standards.
• Maintain linen closets to meet minimum par levels.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from cleaning carts and linen rooms.
• Monitor and clean trash from rooms as needed, moving items to designated pickup points.
• Replace vacuum bags and assist in restocking linen carts.
• Track consumption and order replacements for guest and cleaning supplies.
• Move furniture, supplies, and equipment as directed by the housekeeping supervisor.
• Handle unexpected spills and execute special guest requests as needed.
