About The Position

Maintain the building to ensure a safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors. The role supports room attendants by stocking linen closets and supplying amenities, and helps keep guest corridors and shared areas clean. The position also requires regular attendance, teamwork, and performing other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Hotel experience preferred.
Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Communicate well with guests.
Willingness to pitch in, help coworkers with their duties, and be a team player.
Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to lift equipment or furniture weighing up to 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from a supervisor.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including adapting communication style to different audiences.

Responsibilities

Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may take supplies directly to room attendants.
Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors; polish and clean mirrors, guest room door numbers, and elevator doors.
Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by a supervisor.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
