About The Position
The Housekeeping Concierge plays a key role in ensuring guest satisfaction by providing timely and efficient service in all public areas of the property. The position requires delivering guest requests and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the property. Guest-facing duties take the highest priority, and the ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, and able to stay productive during slower periods.
Requirements
- Comfort with repetitive tasks on a daily basis.
- Ability to stay self-motivated while working independently or part of a team.
- The position requires the ability to lift over 50 pounds occasionally.
- This position requires the ability to stand, walk (4-5 hours at a time), kneel, and climb stairs, reach & bend.
- The position requires that the employee be able to read basic chemical labels and write in complete sentences in submitting reports and assessments.
- Resort experience preferred
- Valid drivers’ license required
Responsibilities
- Deliver items such as extra towels, pillows, or amenities to guests around the resort.
- Ensure all interactions with guests are courteous, friendly, and focused on providing a positive experience.
- Communicate effectively with the front desk and housekeeping teams to ensure guest requests are answered efficiently.
- Perform routine checks and cleaning tasks in guest areas, hallways, and service closets, and ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained.
- Ensure public area and storage closets are stocked, clean, and organized.
- Monitor the inventory of cleaning supplies, amenities, and equipment and report needs to supervisors.
- Support housekeepers by delivering supplies, equipment, and linens to assigned areas.
- Assist in special cleaning projects such as carpet and window cleaning.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks/ repairs and report and major maintenance items to supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery.
- Communicate any concerns or issues to supervisors to address promptly.
- Ensure that all cleaning agents and supplies are stored properly and in compliance with safety guidelines.
