About The Position

Cascades at Riverwalk is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community serving residents who receive long-term and short-term care. The Housekeeping Attendant helps maintain a clean, orderly, and supportive environment for residents and staff, following facility standards and infection-control procedures. The role involves cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and assigned common areas, and responding to directions from the housekeeping supervisor. The position is part-time and based in Midvale, Utah.

Requirements

• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or currently enrolled in school.
• Ability to work in confined or varied spaces.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50–100 pounds independently.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Sufficient vision and hearing, with or without assistive devices, to perform duties effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Housekeeping experience in healthcare or large facilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms and bathrooms daily according to facility standards.
• Maintain rooms in a neat, orderly condition based on resident preferences.
• Clean assigned common areas, including offices, dining areas, hallways, and activity spaces.
• Follow infection-control procedures at all times.
• Safely store cleaning chemicals when they are not in use.
• Promptly report maintenance or repair needs.
• Follow the housekeeping supervisor’s direction on daily assignments.
• Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
