About The Position

Cascades at Riverwalk is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community serving residents who depend on long-term and short-term care. The Housekeeping Attendant helps maintain clean, orderly resident rooms and facility spaces while following facility standards and infection control procedures. The role supports a geriatric population and works under the direction of the housekeeping supervisor. Requirements

• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or currently enrolled.
• Ability to move and work in confined or varied spaces.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50–100 lbs. independently.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Sufficient vision and hearing, with or without assistive devices, to perform duties effectively.
• May be exposed to bodily fluids and communicable illnesses.

Nice To Haves

• Housekeeping experience in healthcare or large facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms and bathrooms daily according to facility standards.
• Maintain rooms in a neat, orderly condition based on resident preferences.
• Clean assigned common areas, including offices, dining areas, hallways, and activity spaces.
• Follow infection control procedures at all times.
• Safely store cleaning chemicals when they are not in use.
• Promptly report maintenance or repair needs.
• Follow the housekeeping supervisor’s direction on daily assignments.
• Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned.
