About The Position
Pomperaug Woods is recruiting a hospitality-focused Housekeeper for its Environmental Services department. The role performs general housekeeping in apartments and/or the Health Center, as well as hallways and common areas. Work is scheduled full-time on Wednesdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Requirements
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform general housekeeping in apartments and/or the Health Center, including vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting cleared flat surfaces.
- Perform housekeeping duties in hallways and common areas as directed by the supervisor.
- Complete work in the priority order set by the supervisor.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, dining rooms, offices, and hallways in accordance with infection control procedures and established policies.
- Use chemicals only as directed and in an approved, economical manner.
- Apply safety considerations at all times while performing duties.
- Perform annual apartment cleaning.
