About The Position
Through the Canada Summer Jobs Program, we have approval to hire an Assistant Housekeeper. This is an 8-week position starting July 6, 2026, to August 28, 2026, with 35 hours per week at a rate of $19.00 per hour. The role is 100% on-site.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare facility preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to function with minimal supervision
- Experience working with volunteers an asset
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the program.
- Be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or someone to whom refugee status has been granted/conferred
- Have a valid social insurance number
