About The Position

Elk River Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community in Elk River, Minnesota, is hiring a part-time Housekeeping Aide. The community provides Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services in an apartment-style setting. The Housekeeping Aide performs housekeeping and cleaning functions to maintain facility standards and help provide residents with a safe, sanitary environment.

The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The wage is $16.50–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a long-term care facility or acute care center.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy.
• Use housekeeping equipment properly.
• Maintain knowledge of chemicals used within the facility.
• Report areas observed to be in poor repair to the supervisor.
• Dispense soap, paper, and other housekeeping supplies as directed.
• Follow infection control procedures while working.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
