About The Position

Elk River Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community in Elk River, Minnesota, is seeking a part-time Chef/Cook. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food and meals according to planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature-control procedures.
Direct and assist with cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, floors, dishes, and utensils.
Check trays for menu and diet requirements, preferences, and accuracy.
Ensure proper storage of food and supplies.
Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed according to established procedures.
Ensure food and supplies are available for upcoming meals.
Assist with inventory and storing incoming food and supplies.
Report hazardous conditions, equipment issues, accidents, and incidents.
Follow universal precautions and sanitary, safety, and infection-control policies and procedures.
