About The Position

Housekeeping Aides provide a vital role in the community by following established procedures to clean and care for resident rooms and common areas. The role helps long-term and short-term guests feel at home and cared for. This is a full-time position with eight-hour shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of housekeeping experience.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak and understand English to communicate with supervisors and residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, and fixtures in apartments and common areas.
• Vacuum carpeted areas, mop tile floors, and spot-clean walls and windows.
• Dust furniture, empty trash cans, and clean baseboards, pictures, lights, and HVAC vents.
• Honor additional housekeeping requests made by residents during the allotted time.
• Assist with picking up trash and setting up activity rooms, including moving furniture.
• Report information to management that is pertinent to residents’ well-being.
• Perform additional housekeeping tasks as necessary.
