About The Position
Heritage Specialty Care, a 171-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is hiring a part-time, day-shift Housekeeping Aide. As part of Care Initiatives, the aide performs housekeeping and laundry duties to help maintain a clean, safe, welcoming, and home-like environment for residents, families, visitors, and team members. The role involves following established procedures and cleaning schedules, supporting sanitation and infection prevention, and interacting respectfully with residents and guests.

- Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
- Carry out daily housekeeping and laundry duties according to established task lists and procedures.
- Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-organized environment for residents, families, visitors, and team members.
- Complete assigned cleaning schedules and service areas with attention to detail, sanitation, and infection prevention.
- Collaborate effectively with the care team.
- Engage respectfully and professionally with residents and guests, contributing to a positive and supportive facility atmosphere.
