About The Position
The Housekeeping Aide supports the childcare center by maintaining a clean, safe, orderly environment for children. The role includes janitorial work throughout the building, classrooms, and playground; cleaning equipment, furniture, fixtures, walls, and restrooms; replenishing restroom dispensers; and helping put up and remove seasonal decorations and displays. The position requires comfort working around children, willingness to learn and work in a team environment, and meeting state education requirements and the center’s requirements. A successful background check is required for employment. Compensation is based on position, education, and experience, with the listed Housekeeping Aide range of $18.09–$18.79. Pay options include bi-weekly and daily pay. The work week is Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
- Keep the building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly.
- Perform janitorial tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows and restrooms, and gathering and emptying trash.
- Clean school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls.
- Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
- Help put up and remove seasonal decorations and displays.
