Daycare Bus Driver - La Petite Academy, Harbor Island Dr.
About The Position
The Child Care Center Bus Driver safely transports children and staff on field trips, to and from school, and to other locations. The Driver ensures the bus is regularly maintained and safe to drive in accordance with applicable state and municipal regulations. The role may also involve stepping into a Teacher role or assisting in other capacities as needed. The position offers compensation based on position, education, and experience. The stated Bus Driver pay range is $14.00–$14.55. Bi-weekly and daily pay options are available. Limited medical coverage is offered for part-time workers. Education assistance, including tuition reimbursement and certification, 401(k) with company match, life and disability insurance, and a child care discount are available to all employees. The work week is Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Maintain a safe, violation-free driving record.
- Flexibility regarding work hours and schedule.
- Experience working with children.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport children and staff by bus or van on field trips, to and from school, and to other locations.
- Regularly maintain the vehicle and ensure it is safe to drive under applicable state and municipal regulations.
- Implement safety procedures in coordination with the school Director.
- Step into a Teacher role or assist in other capacities as needed.
