About The Position

Renaissance Framingham Hotel & Conference Center, a Colwen Hotels property, is seeking a motivated, friendly, detail-oriented Housekeeper. The role involves cleaning, stocking, and maintaining assigned guest rooms in accordance with company and brand standards. Housekeepers respond to guest and departmental requests, protect guest privacy, and help ensure rooms and shared laundry tasks meet hotel standards. The position requires working a rotational seven-day work cycle, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Prior experience as a cleaner or housekeeper; hotel experience preferred.
Be detail-oriented and thorough.
Remain discreet and respect guest privacy.
Work with a high level of integrity and consistently meet high standards.
Work quickly without compromising quality.
Work with little supervision while maintaining a high level of performance.
Interact with guests in a pleasant and friendly way.
Demonstrate strong prioritization and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Receive assigned-room lists from the manager and prioritize rooms.
Clean, stock, and maintain assigned guest rooms according to Colwen and brand standards.
Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
Check cleaning-cart inventory, replenish necessary supplies, and transport the cart to assigned floors and rooms.
Protect guest privacy; knock and announce before entering rooms and return later if a room is occupied.
Check room amenities and supplies and restock them according to standards.
Make beds neatly and stock bath linens according to standards.
Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and/or coffee stations.
Remove trash, dirty linens, towels, and room-service items from rooms.
Check that appliances are present and in clean working order.
Straighten desk areas and furniture; dust and polish furniture and remove marks or stains from walls and furnishings.
Vacuum carpets and clean floors.
Notify the maintenance department of needed repairs or maintenance.
Conduct a final walkthrough to ensure rooms meet hotel standards.
Launder soiled linens, which may include loading hotel washers and dryers and folding sheets and towels.
Take found items to the designated lost-and-found area.
Perform other duties as requested.
