About The Position

The Housekeeper maintains the cleanliness and appearance of an apartment community, including common areas, management offices, amenities, and vacant units. The role helps provide a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff. Work takes place indoors and outdoors and involves regular exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including bending, standing, and climbing stairs.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience, particularly in residential or commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize common areas, including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, laundry rooms, fitness centers, and community spaces.
• Prepare vacant apartment units for new residents by cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, appliances, and fixtures.
• Perform routine cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, and trash removal.
• Restock restroom and supply areas as needed.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report repair or replacement needs to management.
• Identify and promptly report safety concerns, maintenance issues, and property damage.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Assist with special projects and seasonal cleaning as assigned.
