About The Position

A large private family is seeking a top-notch housekeeper for its large estate in Greenwich, Connecticut. The family is in Greenwich only a few months per year and also requires help during the Christmas season. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday, with flexibility for weekends and longer hours when the principals are present and as needed. The housekeeper will handle general household cleaning and organization, including laundry, dishes, grocery shopping, errands, and helping prepare for family events and parties. The family has an existing staff structure and is looking for a discreet, polished, team-oriented person with a strong work ethic who takes initiative. The role requires someone comfortable around children, neat and meticulous, and willing to pitch in wherever needed.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Perform general housekeeping, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms and the kitchen.
Wipe down surfaces.
Change linens and make beds.
Tidy throughout the day.
Pitch in wherever needed.
Handle general household organization.
Shop for groceries.
Run errands.
Help set up for family events and parties.
Work a generally Monday-through-Friday schedule, with flexibility for weekends and longer hours when the principals are present and as needed.
Provide help during the Christmas season.
