About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Vitalia Highland Heights. In this role, you will be responsible for providing housekeeping services to residents, ensuring each room is a comfortable, clean, and cozy place to live. You will also maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of common areas, including the lobby and employee break room, ensuring everything is in its place. This is a full-time position with a shift schedule of Sunday through Wednesday, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. We are looking for individuals who are at least eighteen years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and can communicate effectively in English at an 8th-grade proficiency level with our residents. A positive, energetic, and professional attitude is essential, as is the ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, lifting up to 25 pounds, and pushing/pulling a housekeeping cart. Candidates must be in good health, physically and mentally capable of performing tasks, and pass a health screening and tuberculosis test. Criminal clearance is also required.
Requirements
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Professional in appearance and conduct.
- Active; requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds and push/pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
- Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
- Pass a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
- Test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.
- Criminally cleared.
