About The Position
Powerlink Healthcare Services is hiring a Housekeeper for the Flagstaff Veterans Home. The role is responsible for cleanliness throughout the community, including resident units and common areas, and provides laundry and cleaning services to maintain a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and the public. Services must comply with facility policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws and regulations, supporting residents’ quality of life. Powerlink provides integrated healthcare services to long-term care and senior living facilities, including food and nutrition, housekeeping and laundry, and facility maintenance. Requirements
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to speak and read fluent English.
- Able to work independently.
- Able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities
- Sweep, scrub, and mop floors.
- Vacuum carpets and rugs.
- Dust and polish furniture.
- Empty and clean garbage containers.
- Dispose of garbage in a sanitary manner.
- Clean glass surfaces.
- Make beds and change linens.
- Clean mirrors, toilets, and showers.
- Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
- Provide laundry and cleaning services throughout the community, including resident units and common areas.
- Maintain services in accordance with facility policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
