About The Position
The Iowa Veterans Home is hiring full-time Food Service Workers for the p.m. shift. The position starts at $14.95 per hour, and the stated shift hours are 10:40 a.m. to 7:10 p.m. Employees work every other weekend. The successful candidate performs manual food service work serving meals and cleaning dietary items and areas, along with related work as required. Applicants are subject to criminal background, dependent adult abuse, and child abuse checks. New hires are verified through E-Verify within the required timeframe to confirm authorization to work in the United States.
