About The Position
The Iowa Veterans Home is hiring part-time Food Service Workers for the PM shift. The position starts at $14.95 per hour. Hours are 3:10 p.m.–7:10 p.m. during the week and 10:40 a.m.–7:10 p.m. every other weekend. The successful candidate performs manual food service work serving meals and cleaning dietary items and areas, along with related work as required. Applicants are subject to criminal background, dependent adult abuse, and child abuse checks. The State of Iowa uses E-Verify to confirm newly hired employees’ authorization to work in the United States and complies with federal Right to Work laws.
