About The Position

The Housekeeper provides a positive experience to patients, customers, and the community by cleaning and servicing all areas of the hospital to maintain a safe, aseptic, and attractive environment. The position is in Environmental Services at Mon Health Medical Center Main Campus and is a regular, full-time role scheduled for days.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform heavy work, exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and more than 20 pounds constantly.
• Sufficient job skills and knowledge to perform the job competently and demonstrate them in day-to-day situations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping or custodian experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service all areas of the hospital to provide a safe, aseptic, and attractive environment.
• Follow hospital and Environmental Services department policies and procedures.
• Produce accurate, detail-oriented, high-quality work.
• Meet or exceed expected work quantity while maintaining quality.
• Work effectively with peers and carry an appropriate share of the team workload.
• Perform other job-related activities requested by supervisors.
