About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at The Cambridge Senior Living in Springfield, MO. In this role, you will be responsible for providing housekeeping services to residents, ensuring their living spaces are comfortable, clean, and cozy. You will also maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of common areas, including the lobby and employee break room, ensuring everything is in its place. This is a full-time position with a shift schedule of Sunday through Thursday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. We are looking for individuals with a positive and energetic attitude who love our residents and are professional in their appearance and conduct.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Professional in appearance and conduct.
  • Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds and push/pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
  • Must be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
  • Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
  • Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Providing housekeeping services for residents to make each room a comfortable, clean, and cozy place to live.
  • Ensuring each area, from the lobby to the employee break room, is tidy and clean, with everything in its place.
