About The Position

The Housekeeper cleans and maintains guest rooms, equipment, lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other public spaces to create a welcoming and spotless hotel environment. Duties include making beds, changing linens, restocking supplies, maintaining housekeeping carts, and performing deep-cleaning and light upkeep tasks such as changing air-conditioning filters and adding paint. The role also involves responding to guest requests, delivering items, providing friendly customer service, and helping maintain the safety of guests, property, and coworkers.

The employer prefers a high school diploma or equivalent and seeks someone with strong attention to detail and effective communication skills. Full-time hires become eligible for a benefits package after an initial waiting period.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and housekeeping equipment.

• Keep the housekeeping cart stocked and ready for use.

• Perform deep-cleaning and upkeep tasks, including changing air-conditioning filters and adding paint.
• Respond to guest requests and deliver requested items with a smile.
• Provide friendly customer service to guests.
• Help keep guests and hotel property safe by monitoring sensitive areas and following safe work practices.
