HOUSEKEEPER Part-Time Friday-Sunday
About The Position
Mountain Youth Academy is seeking a part-time housekeeper to join our growing team! Come make a difference in the life of a child and love what you do!! This role requires a successful background check, fingerprinting and employment verification. Mountain Youth Academy is centrally located near Johnson City, TN, Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA. We are a 120-bed residential treatment facility and assist in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for our young adolescent patients. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe healthcare environment in accordance with infection control standards and hospital policies.
Requirements
- Must have the ability to interpret and communicate/read/understand in English in written and verbal material to perform essential job functions
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, offices, and public areas
- Properly sanitize high-touch surfaces throughout the building
- Replenish supplies such as soaps, paper products, and trashbags
- Use cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and equipment safely according to OSHA and hospital guidelines.
- Follow proper hand hygiene and personal protective equipment
