About The Position

Right at Home of Salt Lake is seeking a caregiver to provide one-on-one support to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. The role focuses on helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent, while providing compassionate care that enhances their quality of life. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, with morning shifts available. Pay is $17.00–$18.25 per hour depending on experience, Dementia Certification, or CNA status, with a minimum of $27.50 per shift. A Training/GUIDE Respite Rate of $17.00 per hour is also listed. The franchise is independently owned and operated, and hiring decisions are made by the franchisee.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Experience with dementia and behavioral care.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts.
CNA status or Dementia Certification may affect pay.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship to clients.
Assist with personal care and hygiene.
Perform light housekeeping.
Prepare meals.
Provide transportation to appointments or community activities.
Give medication reminders.
Assist with other activities of daily living.
