About The Position

Right at Home of Salt Lake is seeking a caregiver to provide one-on-one support to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent. The position is for Friday through Sunday shifts, with morning shifts available. Care may include companionship, personal care and hygiene assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation to appointments or community activities, medication reminders, and other activities of daily living. The role calls for dependable, compassionate caregivers committed to providing quality care.

Requirements

Must be 18 or older.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Eligible to work in the U.S.
Able to pass a background check.
Experience with dementia and behavioral care.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one care to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes.
Provide companionship.
Assist with personal care and hygiene.
Perform light housekeeping.
Prepare meals.
Transport clients to appointments or community activities.
Provide medication reminders.
Assist with other activities of daily living.

Benefits

Competitive pay of $17.00–$18.25 per hour depending on experience, Dementia Certification, or CNA; minimum $27.50 per shift.
Training/GUIDE respite rate of $17.00 per hour.
Raises after 60 days and annual reviews.
Bonus after 60 days for employees working 20 or more hours per week who complete required documents.
Mileage reimbursement between client visits when visits are under one hour apart.
