About The Position

The Housekeeper maintains a clean, healthy environment for residents, visitors, and staff, supporting good mental and physical health in pleasant surroundings free of litter, germs, and debris. The position is at the Palace at Coral Gables, a luxury independent living community for active adults.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Responsible, punctual, resourceful, accurate, and detail-oriented.
• Flexible with work schedule and available to work weekends, holidays, and emergency situations.
• Able to work under pressure and multitask.
• Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and empathetic listening.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms, public areas, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, offices, and other designated areas inside and outside the building.
• Keep the facility clean and free of hazards at all times.
• Remove trash to designated areas.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and orderly at all times.
• Change bed linens daily or as needed.
