About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a part-time Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role performs daily cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices, following established procedures, safety guidelines, infection-control policies, and universal precautions. The Housekeeper maintains cleaning records, reports maintenance or safety concerns to a supervisor, and interacts positively with residents, staff, and guests while providing customer service. Other duties may be assigned.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must communicate effectively, follow oral and written instructions, and complete routine, repetitive tasks. Physical requirements include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds, and standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods. The role involves working around cleaning products, requires compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, and requires residency within the service area.

Starting pay is $16.90 per hour. Pay may vary based on location, years of experience, staffing needs, and other business reasons. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Work around cleaning products.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Reside within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.

• Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies.
