About The Position
Under general supervision, the Housekeeper cleans assigned areas within an MVHS facility according to schedule. The role maintains designated supply areas, helps move furniture and maintain lighting, removes trash, and reports unsafe or inappropriate conditions or equipment. The Housekeeper may also perform special cleaning and project work, provide customer service to coworkers, supervisors, and the public, and remove snow and ice around the building when necessary.

Responsibilities
- Clean assigned facility areas, including lobbies, common areas, rooms, offices, restrooms, and their contents and fixtures, according to policy.
- Maintain adequate supplies in designated areas, such as paper towels, soap, and cleaning items.
- Assist with moving furniture and maintaining lighting in designated areas.
- Remove trash to the designated collection site.
- Notify the supervisor of unsafe or inappropriate conditions or equipment.
- Use supplies in a cost-effective manner.
- Assist with special or non-routine cleaning as assigned or scheduled, such as annual summer housecleaning.
- Assist other housekeepers with special projects, including meeting setup and dismantling, as requested.
- Use good customer service skills and build rapport with coworkers, supervisors, and the public.
- Accept responsibility for snow and ice removal around the building when necessary.
