About The Position
The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, flooring, and work areas. The role includes making beds, replenishing supplies, sanitizing equipment, and performing general cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting. The Housekeeper follows material safety data sheet regulations when using chemicals, reports to scheduled shifts on time and in uniform, complies with company policies and procedures, and greets guests in a friendly and warm manner. Other related duties may be assigned.
Requirements

Nice To Haves
- High school diploma, GED certification, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
- Experience with hotel brand systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Make beds.
- Replenish supplies, including drinking glasses, writing supplies, and bathroom supplies.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaners.
- Dust furniture and equipment.
- Polish metalwork, including fixtures and fittings.
- Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empty wastebaskets and empty and clean ashtrays.
- Transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
- Replace light bulbs.
- Follow material safety data sheet regulations when using chemicals.
- Report to scheduled shifts on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
- Comply with company policies and procedures pertaining to the position and its duties.
- Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
- Perform other related duties as required.
