About The Position

The Housekeeper at Summit Resort is responsible for cleaning assigned guest rooms for check-in, servicing occupied guest rooms, and responding to guest requests throughout the workday. The role requires completing room-turn tasks to established quality and time standards while maintaining a professional appearance and properly caring for the assigned uniform. Housekeepers may work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced resort environment. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour, plus tips. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time positions.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and via radio.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete routine daily tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review daily assignment lists and plan tasks for maximum efficiency.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned duties.
• Keep housekeeping supply bags, cleaning caddies, vacuums, and lockers stocked, organized, and in good working order at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Complete the four essential room-turnover steps: stripping, cleaning, stocking, and formatting.
• Perform room-turn tasks consistently to established quality and time standards.
• Notify the Houseman on duty when shortages or deficiencies in supplies or room resources affect housekeeping operations.
• Identify issues requiring management attention and promptly notify the Manager on Duty.
• Respond to guest requests throughout the workday.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and properly care for the assigned uniform.
