About The Position

Sizemore, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Tech for industrial cleaning and warehouse work in Groveland, Florida. The role is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the assigned facility area and applying the company’s values of flexibility, improvement, reliability, safety, and teamwork in daily work. The employer is willing to train the right people. The position is described as full-time, with a night-shift schedule of 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM and a four-days-on, three-days-off schedule; day shifts are also offered. Pay is $15.25 per hour, paid weekly on Fridays. The position is a direct-hire opportunity with career growth. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation. Employment is contingent on a seven-year background check and drug test. Work may take place indoors or outdoors in varying building and weather conditions. The role involves extensive walking or standing, including 85–90% of the shift, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, and reaching. Employees may need to lift or carry items generally weighing up to 50 pounds and may be required to work overtime.

Responsibilities

Gather and dispose of cardboard, packing materials, wood, and other waste from designated gaylords and bins.
Clean flooring surfaces by vacuuming with push or backpack vacuums, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
Properly label, dilute, and use available cleaning chemicals.
Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
Operate specialized equipment as needed, including augers, balers, and waste compactors.
Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policies and procedures.
Identify and implement projects to improve business-wide effectiveness and efficiency.
Follow and enforce Sizemore’s and the client’s policies and procedures.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
