About The Position

Porters Neck Village is seeking a hospitality-focused, full-time Housekeeping Associate to perform housekeeping and laundry functions throughout the community. The role helps maintain an attractive, clean, comfortable, and organized environment that meets residents’ needs and complies with community standards for cleanliness and sanitation. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the position pays $15 per hour. The role also calls for a commitment to the community’s hospitality standards: treating residents, employees, and guests warmly and respectfully; anticipating and responding to needs; maintaining professionalism and attention to detail; and embracing differences. The position requires working around household pets, including cats and dogs, and walking between homes in inclement weather.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to work around household pets such as cats and dogs.
Ability to walk from home to home in inclement weather.

Nice To Haves

Three to six months of experience in a housekeeping or janitorial position preferred.
