About The Position

The Housekeeper provides housekeeping services for residents, helping make their living areas comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The role also keeps shared spaces—including the lobby and employee break room—tidy and orderly. This is a part-time position at Fremont in Springfield, Missouri, scheduled Friday through Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The stated pay range is $15.50–$20.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
• Positive, energetic attitude and a willingness to work with residents.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Must be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds and push or pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
• Must be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
• A physician-performed health screening must verify good physical health; it must occur no more than six months before employment or within seven days after employment.
• Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at the time of the health screening.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping services for residents and keep their areas clean and comfortable.
• Maintain tidy, clean, and orderly shared spaces, including the lobby and employee break room.
• Use and push or pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
