About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Housekeeper at Fremont in Springfield, Missouri. The role is scheduled Friday through Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and pays $15.50–$20.50 per hour. The Housekeeper provides housekeeping services that help make residents’ rooms comfortable, clean, and welcoming, and keeps shared spaces—including the lobby and employee break room—tidy and organized. The position requires regular physical activity throughout the day, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping. The Housekeeper must be able to frequently lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds and push or pull a wheeled housekeeping cart. Candidates must meet the stated age, education, communication, health-screening, and criminal-clearance requirements.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency with residents.
Have a positive, energetic attitude and a strong regard for residents.
Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds and push or pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
Complete a physician-performed health screening no more than six months before employment or within seven days after employment, and test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at the time of screening.
Receive criminal clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide housekeeping services for residents’ rooms and living areas, keeping them clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
Keep shared spaces, including the lobby and employee break room, tidy and clean, with items in their places.
Push or pull a wheeled housekeeping cart as needed.
