About The Position

A private household in West Palm Beach is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain a clean, organized, and beautifully presented waterfront residence. The home is approximately 6,800 square feet, with 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The Housekeeper will work independently while demonstrating discretion, reliability, and professionalism in a private residence. This dedicated housekeeping position focuses exclusively on cleanliness and upkeep of the home, including laundry and linen care. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Compensation is $45–$50 per hour. No benefits are offered, and no travel is required. The position is listed as starting ASAP.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional housekeeping experience in a private residence.
• Experience maintaining larger homes and managing the detailed cleaning needs of a multi-bedroom, multi-bathroom property.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and care of high-end furnishings, finishes, and delicate materials.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain consistent standards throughout the workday.
• Strong laundry skills, including proper care of clothing, linens, and specialty fabrics.
• Trustworthiness, discretion, professionalism, strong communication skills, reliability, and a proactive approach to household upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed daily and deep cleaning throughout the residence.
• Maintain kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas to the highest standards.
• Handle household laundry, including washing, folding, ironing, and organizing clothing and linens.
• Make beds and maintain bedding and linens throughout the home.
• Keep closets, cabinets, and household spaces neat and organized.
• Care for household surfaces, furnishings, and high-end finishes using appropriate cleaning products and techniques.
• Maintain an orderly, polished, and guest-ready environment.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and communicate when items need replenishing.
• Follow the household’s preferred cleaning routines, standards, and organizational systems.
