About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Housekeeper in a long-term care facility. The role is vital to maintaining a clean and safe environment and supporting positive customer and resident experiences. The Housekeeper performs routine cleaning and sanitation tasks, follows infection control and safety procedures, maintains activity records, and interacts positively with residents, staff, and guests. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour; wages may vary based on location, experience, staffing needs, and other business reasons. Residency within the service area is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Be able to work around cleaning products.
• Be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices as part of daily housekeeping tasks.
• Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
