About The Position

Nocona Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join its environmental services team. The role helps maintain the cleanliness and comfort of the facility and supports the well-being and satisfaction of residents and guests by meeting high standards of hygiene and sanitation.

The Housekeeper performs routine cleaning and sanitation, replenishes supplies, monitors inventory, uses cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, reports maintenance or safety issues, and assists with special projects and deep-cleaning assignments. Requirements

• Ability to work independently and follow assigned schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift or move heavy objects.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and disposal practices.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in floor care and facility cleaning is preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial or commercial cleaning techniques and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning.
• Sanitize restrooms, break rooms, resident rooms, and other common areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Restock bathroom and cleaning supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
• Maintain inventory and inform a supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.
• Use cleaning chemicals and power equipment safely and properly.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and deep-cleaning assignments as needed.
