About The Position

The Housekeeper is an entry-level opportunity on MultiCare’s Environmental Services team. The role helps ensure patients and families have the best possible experience when visiting a MultiCare facility by maintaining clean, orderly, and sanitary environments. This position is based at Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, Washington, and is a 1.0 FTE evening shift with rotating weekends.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties and maintain environmental surfaces in an orderly and sanitary condition.
• Organize and complete required department tasks in coordination with services provided by patient care personnel and other support service departments.
• Communicate effectively with the team and nursing staff.
• Partner with a service-oriented attitude and professional integrity.
