About The Position
The Housekeeper is an entry-level opportunity on MultiCare’s Environmental Services team. The role helps ensure patients and families have the best possible experience when visiting a MultiCare facility by keeping environmental surfaces orderly and sanitary, coordinating department tasks with patient care and support service teams, and communicating effectively with colleagues and nursing staff. The position is 1.0 FTE on an evening shift with rotating weekends at Tacoma General Hospital.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
Nice To Haves
- High school graduation or equivalent preferred.
- Previous Housekeeper experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties and maintain environmental surfaces in an orderly and sanitary condition.
- Organize and complete required department tasks in coordination with services provided by patient care personnel and other support service departments.
- Communicate effectively with the team and nursing staff.
- Partner with a service-oriented attitude and professional integrity.
