Seasonal Housekeepers support winter camp operations at a remote camp on Alaska’s North Slope. They maintain clean, sanitary, and comfortable guest rooms, offices, and common areas, helping create a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for camp residents. The season runs approximately from mid-December through mid-April, depending on weather conditions. The rotational schedule is three weeks on and three weeks off, with 12-hour shifts and approximately 84 hours per work week (40 straight-time hours and 44 overtime hours). The point of hire is Anchorage, Alaska, and the company arranges and pays for flights between Anchorage and the job site. Room and board are provided at no cost while working in camp. The remote camp setting involves staying at camp for the full three-week work rotation and sharing a room with another employee. The work is physically active, involving standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day. Employees follow safety rules, camp policies, and work procedures and work as part of a team while maintaining a professional attitude.
