About The Position
Greenwood Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Greenwood, South Carolina, is an inpatient rehabilitation hospital serving patients in the Lakelands region. The hospital provides rehabilitation for conditions including stroke and neurological injuries, post-surgical orthopedic needs, and trauma recovery. It is Joint Commission-accredited and part of Ernest Health’s network. The Housekeeper joins the hospital’s patient-care team and performs cleaning and related environmental services duties. The role requires maintaining quality, safety, and confidentiality standards and working professionally with others. Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of appropriate healthcare environmental services procedures.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Ability to maintain appropriate confidentiality.
- Ability to learn and practice healthcare environmental services procedures.
- Ability to work closely and professionally with others.

Responsibilities
- Dust, mop, and clean items such as medicine cabinets, furniture, metals, mirrors, and equipment.
- Vacuum blinds, screens, and vents.
- Perform miscellaneous duties such as replenishing supplies.
- Sterilize rooms after isolation.
- Integrate the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
