About The Position

The Housekeeper helps keep resident apartments and shared spaces clean and safe at Bristol Glen, a continuing care retirement community in Newton, New Jersey. The role is per diem and as needed, with weekday shifts that are typically 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.; hours vary from week to week based on community needs. There are no weekend shifts.

Applicants must be at least 18, able to read and follow safety labels and instructions in English, pass a drug test and background check, and meet the flu vaccination requirement or qualify for a medical or religious exemption. A high school diploma or GED and relevant cleaning or customer service experience are preferred but not required. Pay is $18.06 per hour. Benefits may depend on position, shift, and hours.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident apartments and bathrooms.
• Clean and dust shared spaces, including lounges, hallways, and public restrooms.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in common areas.
• Follow infection prevention and chemical safety procedures each shift.
• Track cleaning supplies and notify a supervisor when supplies are low or something needs repair.
